What the actual example establishes

Start with the reading task

EPUBTurn turns eligible PDFs into EPUB reading copies. This guide shows how to test lecture notes through the displayed sample controls. Open the PDF upload page when your document is ready. Keep the source as the reference for the details described below.

1. Choose an authorised PDF and keep the original

Use a PDF supplied by your lecturer or a document you are authorised to convert. Keep the original file with the course, topic and date so similar weekly notes remain distinguishable. Do not upload classmates’ private information or restricted assessment material without permission. Choose a representative reading task: following an explanation, keeping an equation with its variables, or reading a diagram caption. A typed note set and a photographed handwritten notebook need different checks.

2. Upload your PDF with Choose a PDF

Open the EPUBTurn upload page and select Choose a PDF. Select the note PDF itself rather than a presentation link or an archive of images. Check the filename and the displayed document before starting. Eligible files must fit the current PDF size and page limits: up to 200 MB, with full conversions up to 100 pages. For a long semester pack, do not infer that a short sample gives access to an unlimited full conversion.

3. Create a free sample and check selected pages

Select Create free sample. The service automatically selects up to ten pages, which may cover only part of the topic. Check the selected page list and find out whether equations, diagrams or references you need actually appear. A sample containing mostly introductory prose does not establish how a difficult later derivation will read. Compare one selected explanation from its heading through its conclusion with the original notes.

4. Prepare the sample download

When processing finishes, use Create sample download if the screen presents that button. Follow the current status until the EPUB download is available. Keep any unresolved warning separate from your assessment of the notes’ content. A preparation step can be complete while the reading download still needs another action. Do not describe unselected handwritten pages or omitted worked problems as successfully converted merely because another page produced readable text.

5. Download the EPUB and inspect it in your reader

Choose Download sample EPUB and save the file before opening it in a reader. On Mac, Apple Books supports File > Import for EPUB files. Increase the font size and check that an explanation still leads into the correct equation or example. Compare subscripts, minus signs, variable names and diagram labels with the PDF. Keep the PDF alongside the EPUB for exact formula layout. Reflowed text can help with revision reading, but a changed symbol can change the meaning.

6. Decide whether to convert more pages

If full conversion is offered, follow the displayed sign-in and page-credit confirmation before deciding. This guide does not supply a fixed cost or claim a verified paid conversion. Base the decision on selected passages that match your course, including the difficult material you actually need. Preserve the original notes for citations, exact equations and any omitted pages. If the sample does not include a representative problem, the evidence remains incomplete.

What the actual example establishes

No lecture-note or handwriting conversion is claimed on this page. The steps describe how to test your own authorised typed notes. In a separate published research-paper trial, EPUBTurn required manual correction of three equation crops before a reviewed export could be built; that example is a reason to inspect equations carefully, not evidence that every course formula is handled automatically. Judge your actual sample against the actual source and keep untested layouts clearly separate from observed reading results.
