EPUBTurn inputs, outputs and conversion limits

EPUBTurn accepts eligible PDFs and creates EPUB reading editions. Check the 200 MB upload limit, 100-page full-conversion limit and automatically selected sample coverage.

Check PDF size, page count and output format

  1. Use a PDF rather than a renamed non-PDF file.
  2. Check the file is no larger than 200 MB.
  3. Check the full document is within 100 pages.
  4. Inspect the automatically selected sample before full conversion.

Know what the sample covers

A sample is a reading trial, not a guarantee for the full document. Up to ten pages are automatically selected, so unusual layouts elsewhere may remain unassessed. For a short file, the sample can include fewer than ten pages. If the full document exceeds 100 pages, do not assume an unlimited paid path appears after the sample. The upload accepts PDF and the reading output is EPUB; the service should not be described as a general office-format conversion suite. Keep the source for exact layouts and citations.

Check the actual comparison file against the limits

The published comparison source contains ten pages and is about 1.8 MB. Count and size describe that file, not every research paper. EPUBTurn accepts eligible PDFs up to 200 MB and full conversions up to 100 pages; the free sample includes up to ten automatically selected pages. Check your own PDF’s actual page count and byte size before uploading. Renaming a Word document or image archive with a PDF extension does not create supported input.

Confirm unsupported formats before uploading

This guide does not promise support for Word input, ZIP archives, batch uploads, locked documents or unlimited pages. Use the current upload screen and terms for the actual supported flow.

Choose a suitable reading document

The limits establish eligibility, not the suitability of every layout. Prose-heavy magazines, articles and reports can benefit from adjustable reading text. Forms, maps, comics or dense tables may still require the original layout for important information. Inspect the source and the actual sample before deciding.

Do not rename another file format to .pdf and assume that creates supported input. If a PDF is damaged or locked, obtain an authorised readable source rather than repeatedly uploading it. Retain the source file and download the EPUB while access remains available. The service is a reading-conversion workflow, not permanent storage or a promise that every document type will become comfortable reflowed prose.

Check the free-sample allowance

The free allowance is one PDF per 24 hours. People using a shared connection may share that allowance. Check the current upload controls before starting another sample.

Check the actual upload and selected pages

The NASA excerpt is a six-page PDF of about 383 KB, and its normal EPUBTurn sample selected three pages. The three-page cookbook input was about 214 KB and its sample included all three. Those real trials show why total source pages and selected sample pages are different fields. Check your file against the current 200 MB and 100-page full-conversion limits, then inspect which pages appear before choosing the full conversion.
