EPUBTurnPDF to EPUB converter

Check a converted EPUB in Thorium Reader

Import your actual EPUB into Thorium, enlarge a passage and compare its figures with the source. Keep reader behaviour separate from conversion defects.

Import the saved EPUB into Thorium

  1. Install Thorium from the official EDRLab route.
  2. Import the saved EPUB using the current app instructions.
  3. Inspect a passage at larger text.
  4. Follow contents and useful note links.

Inspect a real paper in Thorium

Open the downloaded published-paper EPUB in Thorium and compare page 2’s passage and Figure 1 with the original PDF. Enlarge the text, then follow the chapter navigation and reopen the saved library entry. Record what you actually see in your installed app. The reviewed EPUBTurn output already has clipped lower figure-axis labels; a successful Thorium import would not restore those missing pixels. No new Thorium result on this paper is claimed here. The procedure keeps reader controls separate from known conversion limitations.

Import the actual saved file

Use Thorium’s library import control to select the EPUB you downloaded, then open that library entry. If several versions exist, include the version in the filename while checking so you do not inspect an older import by accident. Test a larger text size, a captioned picture and one navigation entry. Record any failure as a specific task rather than assuming every reader will reproduce it. Thorium is a useful desktop check, but the final reader used for daily reading still deserves its own inspection.

Use Thorium as an observation tool

A desktop reader gives you space to inspect headings, links and picture context, but that comfort should not conceal a problem in the book. Read the same paragraph against the PDF and inspect a difficult transition. Change text size and check whether meaning and order remain intact.

If a problem is absent in Thorium but appears in your everyday reader, retain the unchanged file and record the difference. That helps distinguish an app-specific presentation issue from damaged book content. A second reader is evidence about a specific task, not a compatibility guarantee for physical devices. Keep your version and file details with the observation if you request help.

Keep the result tied to your installed reader

Use the exact downloaded file and record the app, version and reading control you tried. An import check, a font change, heading navigation and spoken output are separate tasks. Do not transfer a result from one reader to another. Compare the same chapter or figure with the source and keep not checked beside every task you did not perform. If the reader rejects the file, record that rejection before deciding whether a passage is missing.

Use the actual sample for a Thorium reading check

Import the unchanged NASA EPUB and locate the gimbal-drive actuator label and Abort Mode functions. Compare the source while enlarging the prose, then reopen the saved library entry. The actual file retains those inspected details, but we have not performed a new Thorium task on this sample. EPUBTurn conversion and Thorium import are separate steps; record an app-specific result only after you have checked that installed reader.
