Large PDF to EPUB conversion: practical preparation
EPUBTurn’s current interface states a PDF upload limit of 200 MB. Check the displayed limit before submitting; preserve content and rights when preparing a smaller document.

Check page count and file size separately
A 30-page scanned booklet can be larger than a 90-page text report. Large images drive file size, while page count determines how much content is being processed. The current EPUBTurn interface states a 200 MB upload limit and a 100-page full-conversion limit. Meeting one does not imply meeting the other. Check both before choosing the workflow.
Avoid shrinking away information
Reducing image quality can make a PDF smaller while making charts unreadable. Compare a detailed label before and after any preparation. Do not remove an appendix merely to fit a limit if the appendix is part of the document you need. If you prepare a permitted subset using another tool, record which pages it contains and keep the original untouched.
Choose a practical reading scope
Ask whether you need the entire report or a permitted chapter for your task. Respect copyright and internal handling rules when extracting or uploading pages. Save each output with the source range in its name so a partial reading edition is not mistaken for the complete document. EPUBTurn does not promise that a sample of selected pages establishes quality throughout a large report.
A worked reading example
Open the actual file properties and record both byte size and physical page count. A report with compressed prose can have many pages; a short image-heavy document can be much larger. Compare both measurements with the current upload controls.
Do not remove an essential chart or shrink labels solely to make the upload fit. If an authorised excerpt is appropriate, preserve the context, references and figure captions needed to understand it. Reopen the saved excerpt and inspect its first and last pages before uploading.
Keep partial editions identifiable
If you prepare a permitted subset, label it by source title and page range. Include any notes needed to understand the selected chapter. A paragraph referring to an omitted appendix may become confusing, so keep the complete PDF as a reference and do not describe the subset as the entire report.
Check the prepared file’s size and page count again before uploading. Preparation can change file properties and text extraction. Preserve the original, record the tool used and inspect a detailed figure after any size reduction. The goal is an allowed, readable input within the actual product limits, not a smaller file obtained by removing the information that made the report useful.
Plan scope from the actual selected pages
The six-page NASA report excerpt produced a sample of only pages four to six. That real selection shows why a short useful result does not verify a long report. Check your file’s actual size and page count, then list any important appendix missing from the sample. EPUBTurn’s supported limits do not promise an unlimited full-book route.
Check the current upload and page limits, then inspect the included sample pages.
