How to send an EPUBTurn sample to Kindle

Send a saved EPUBTurn file through Amazon Send to Kindle, then compare the delivered book with the original sample.

  1. 1. Choose the file you actually want to send
  2. 2. Create an EPUBTurn sample only if needed
  3. 3. Download and inspect the EPUB before delivery
  4. 4. Submit the saved EPUB to Send to Kindle
  5. 5. Open the delivered document in your Kindle library
  6. Use a real saved file for the transfer check
  7. 6. Keep the version that passed your reading check

1. Choose the file you actually want to send

If you already have an EPUBTurn EPUB, start with that saved file. You do not need another conversion merely to send a book. EPUBTurn handles the PDF-to-reading-copy stage; Amazon handles delivery to your Kindle library.

Keep the original PDF and the EPUB in separate, clearly named files. If your goal is simply transferring a PDF, Send to Kindle accepts PDF too. Use the PDF conversion guide when you first need to decide whether adjustable text is worth trying.

2. Create an EPUBTurn sample only if needed

For a PDF that still needs conversion, open the EPUBTurn upload, use Choose a PDF and select the permitted source. Choose Create free sample after checking the filename.

EPUBTurn selects up to ten pages automatically. Confirm which pages appear before judging your book. If you already downloaded a sample, skip this step and retain that exact file for the transfer test.

3. Download and inspect the EPUB before delivery

If shown, choose Create sample download, then use Download sample EPUB when available. Save the file rather than sending a screenshot, preview link or PDF with a changed filename.

Read a short passage in a compatible EPUB reader. Find a picture and its caption and note any existing defect. That baseline helps you distinguish a conversion issue from a difference introduced during Amazon processing. Keep the saved file until the Kindle reading copy has been checked.

4. Submit the saved EPUB to Send to Kindle

Open Amazon Send to Kindle and sign in with the account used for your Kindle library. Select the saved EPUB and follow Amazon’s current submission and delivery controls. Confirm the filename before sending, especially when several samples have similar names.

Amazon lists EPUB as a supported submission format. Use that supported processing route instead of assuming a Kindle opens a raw EPUB copied over USB. Sending the file is a transfer step, not another EPUBTurn purchase.

5. Open the delivered document in your Kindle library

Allow Amazon processing to finish, then connect the Kindle or Kindle app and find the document in the intended account. Open the same passage you checked before sending. Change text size and inspect the caption beside its picture.

If delivery fails, read Amazon’s reported result. A missing library item can be an account or delivery problem without implying the PDF needs reconversion. Avoid overwriting the earlier EPUB while investigating, so the submitted file remains available for comparison.

Keep Amazon’s delivery confirmation with the submitted filename. If you later send a revised book, record that version separately so a library title alone does not hide which EPUB you are checking.

Use a real saved file for the transfer check

You can use the saved NASA EPUB as a transfer file: locate the gimbal-drive actuator and its label after delivery. The original report excerpt gives you the reference. That sample covers three of six source pages and retains generic navigation and list-layout limits; it is not a complete report or a verified Kindle import.

The NASA report gives you specific labels and paragraphs to locate after delivery. No physical Kindle import was verified for that sample, so record your own device or app version and the result of the transfer.

6. Keep the version that passed your reading check

Once the delivered sample reads as expected, decide whether its page coverage is enough. If you want a longer EPUBTurn conversion, return to your PDF’s page and review the available sign-in and credit confirmation. Check the actual amount before approving the next stage.

Send the longer saved EPUB as a separate file and inspect a newly included section. Keep a readable PDF instead when fixed diagrams are the main reason for opening the document. A successful delivery establishes access to that file, not correctness of every page.
