How to convert and save a PDF as EPUB on iPhone or iPad
Choose a PDF, create an EPUBTurn sample and save the EPUB in Files before importing through your iPhone or iPad reader.

1. Keep the PDF somewhere you can select it
Start with a permitted PDF saved on your iPhone or iPad, or in a file location available through the device’s picker. EPUBTurn can give you a reading sample to inspect when a wide PDF is awkward on a small screen.
Keep the original for comparison. Choose a paragraph and a picture caption you want to check, and make sure you can find the source again after leaving the browser. An EPUB sample and the PDF are separate files, even when both use the same document title.
2. Open the upload in your browser
Go to the EPUBTurn PDF upload and choose Choose a PDF. Use the file picker presented by your device to select the source. Check the displayed filename before starting, particularly if Downloads contains several copies.
On iPhone, a short filename may hide part of the title; inspect the selected document when uncertain. On iPad, keep the PDF accessible in Files so you can return to it while checking the reading copy. Do not assume a browser preview already imported the file into a reading library.

3. Create and prepare the free sample
Choose Create free sample. EPUBTurn automatically selects up to ten pages. When the sample is ready, identify the included pages and whether your chosen paragraph or figure appears.
If Create sample download is offered, use that step and wait for the downloadable EPUB. An absent continuation remains unchecked. Avoid choosing full conversion from an easy sample passage when the difficult material was not included.

4. Save the EPUB and find the download
Use Download sample EPUB. Apple’s download instructions explain how to find Safari downloads through its download control or the Downloads folder in Files. Locate the file you just saved and check that its filename ends in .epub.
On either iPhone or iPad, note the actual folder rather than repeatedly tapping download. A file in a cloud folder is not the same thing as a locally available book in your reader. Keep the downloaded EPUB until the reader has opened the content successfully.
5. Import through a compatible reading app
Use your installed EPUB reader’s supported file-import or share option to select the saved EPUB. If the file only opens as a preview, return to the reader’s own import instructions rather than changing the extension.
Open a known passage, enlarge its text and compare a picture with the PDF. The browser controls shown here were observed on the actual EPUBTurn flow; an iPhone or iPad reader handoff was not tested. Reader menus and file handling can vary with the installed app.
Use the saved sample for a concrete reading check
For a concrete file to import, download the actual NASA sample and locate a hardware drawing with its label. The source excerpt contains six pages, while the sample includes only three. Its prose and inspected labels survive, with a generic chapter name and list-layout differences. Those observations describe the saved file, not an iPhone or iPad test.
The NASA output gives you a hardware label and nearby prose to locate on your device. That observed file content is separate from an untested mobile import. For a verified desktop route, see the Apple Books on Mac walkthrough.
6. Keep a useful sample or confirm full conversion
If the included reading content helps, check whether you need more pages. Follow any full-conversion sign-in and credit confirmation shown for the source; review the actual amount before approving the next stage.
Save the longer result as a distinct file and import it through the same reader route. Check a later section and retain the source for citations and exact figures. A larger iPad screen may suit some PDFs already, while an iPhone reading task may benefit more from adjustable prose.
